Based on my observation, They used TV LED to show teacher’s power point. Sometimes teacher used white board when she wanted to give some explanation in the class, Not only in the classes that I observed but also the other classes. Outside the class, the school provides approriate facilities such as, library, canteen,


Teaching System

Based on my observation, My cooperating teacher used student- centered. It based on their curriculum K to 12 of English Major. Students’ participation are more important rather than teacher explaination. Students’ were formed to be critical thingker. Ma’am Joy always asked the students several questions related to the lesson that they would learn or they have learned.

Iloco Sur National High School


First School that I observed and taugh. Ilocos Sur National High School, located in Vigan City, Philippines, was established on August 1, 1924. It is one of the oldest and most prominent high schools in the province of Ilocos Sur. It was the school where I observed and taught.



UNP Laboratory School

Second school that I did my teaching practice. University of Northern Philippines is located in Vigan city, Philippines. Name of institutional Head: Erwin F.Cadorna. Vision : A globally recognized university in a heritage city by 2030 and Mission : To produce globally skilled and morally upright professional instilled with rich culture values. I did not have enough time to observe the UNP Lab School. I directly taught and made my IM and Lesson Plan.

Hello, My name is Maksimus Khariaman. I am 3rd years student of English Education department, Faculty of teacher training and education in Borneo University of Tarakan, North Kalimantan, Indonesia. Besides, I am also a student who is active in academics, non-academics and campus organizations. I had joined debate competition in campus and Futsal tournament. Rght now, I am the head of education and reasoning in my department's organization and a member of the student representative council in my faculty.  

I had the oppurtunity to join Sea-teacher Program in Philippines and also would be the representative of my campus. It was my dream when I was a freshman student. I believe that dreams will not always be dreams once we strive to achieve them. "The dream will never die, it only faints and will rise again in the form of regret" quote from pandji pragiwaksono. This is one of the quotes that became my reference to achieve my dreams. Further more, I will share what experience that I got in philippines during my teaching practice.
